There was a time when it was said that the construction or procurement contract, once signed, could be put in the bottom drawer and virtually forgotten, barely to be opened again while the project was delivered on site. Those days are long gone.

It has become increasingly important for all parties to a construction contract to be very familiar with the terms of the contract, to closely monitor progress during construction and procurement, and proactively administer the contract.  We assist clients throughout that process.

Our experience during the construction phase includes:

• drafting contract manuals and other materials to assist with contract administration, such as template notices, and flowcharts setting out the processes to be followed when dealing with commonly arising claims and circumstances
